YET MORE FOX HUNTERS CHARGED IN SCOTLAND

24th May 2025

Message from Glasgow Hunt Sabs

Less than a week after we reported that fresh charges had been brought against a huntsman in Scotland, we can exclusively reveal that two more individuals have now been charged with hunting offences.

A 50-year-old woman and a 70-year-old man are the latest to face prosecution after Glasgow Hunt Saboteurs submitted footage showing fox hunting activity in Houston, Renfrewshire, on Saturday 4th January.

These charges are particularly significant, as the individuals were operating under licences issued by NatureScot—licences that are routinely described as ‘strict’ by those defending them.

The tide is turning in Scotland. Nearly half of the country’s fox hunts have collapsed in the past two years.

The message is clear: the days of hunting with dogs are numbered.

  1. TIME TO GET REALLY TOUGH WITH SCUM LIKE THIS, IF NOT SENT TO JAIL THEN TAKE THEIR HORSES AND DOGS OFF THEM AND BAN THEM FROM GOING NEAR ANY ANIMAL EVER AGAIN AND TAGG THEM.

  2. HUNTING WITH PACKS OF DOGS WAS BANNED 21 YEARS AGO YET THESE VILE EVIL SCUM ARE STILL HUNTING WITH PACKS THIS NEEDS SORTING AND NOW. SEND THEM TO PRISON. THEY SAY PRISONS ARE OVERFLOWING WELL THE ANSWER TO THAT IS HANG ALL MURDERERS THEN THERE WOULD BE SPACE FOR SCUM LIKE HUNTERS.
