ππππππ β Fred Ford, aka Mouldy Hat, was found guilty of assault by beating at South Somerset Magistrates Court this week.
During a cubbing meet with the Blackmore and Sparkford Vale Hunt, Ford pinned a female sab to a gate as she tried to access a footpath in East Pennard. He arrogantly continued to tighten his grip even while the sab spoke to the police on the phone, until another sab was able to remove his hands from her.
He was fined Β£660 plus Β£650 costs and Β£264 victim surcharge. A total of Β£1574
Ford revealed to the court that he hunts 5 days a week and does very well for himself, but youβd have to ask his wife exactly what he earns! As well as the BSV he is regularly seen at the Portman Hunt and the Devon and Somerset Staghounds.
His son Charlie Ford is huntsman for the Dorset and Somerset Bassets, who was found guilty of hare hunting earlier this month.
This is the 18th conviction for a Blackmore and Sparkford Vale Hunt member in the last 3 years.
The BSV are currently facing at least two more Hunting Act charges and several more public order charges.
When will they stop just fining these evil murdering bastards and lock them up for a long time, if not that then give then hard labour ie the dirtiest hardest none paid work.
