Malvern man accused of having wild peregrine falcons
A MALVERN man has appeared before a Worcester court accused of keeping wild peregrine falcons.
Ross Loader, of California Lane, Wellend, is facing 21 charges in relation to the birds of prey.

The 57-year-old is accused of 11 counts of having in his possession or control live wild birds, namely peregrine falcons.
Loader also faces eight charges of keeping / possessing / controlling unregistered Schedule 4 birds – peregrine falcons – contrary to the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981.
The offences were allegedly committed in 2022.
Further, it is alleged that after October 2018, Loader sold a peregrine falcon and also knowingly or recklessly made a false declaration namely claimed peregrine falcons were captive bred birds, in order to obtain a certificate.
Loader did not enter a plea to any of the 21 charges when he appeared at Worcester Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (November 11).
The case was adjourned until December 9 when Loader is expected to enter a plea.
The 20-minute hearing will take place at Worcester Magistrates’ Court.
Loader was granted unconditional bail.
