The Pipewell Foot Beagles (PFB) have been charged with the illegal hunting of a hare.
The incident happened on the 25th January 2025 on the Boughton Estate near Kettering in Northamptonshire where a member of the public who was out walking in the countryside was able to capture damning footage that we shared at the time. See here www.facebook.com/share/v/1CA2vPeWwx/
The Master, Whipper-in and the company have been charged under Section 1 of the Hunting Act, namely Hunting a Wild Mammal with dogs.
Boughton House & Estate also regularly plays host to the Pytchley foxhounds who share their kennels with the PFB.
It is rare for organised hare hunts to be brought before the courts due to their secretive behaviour. The Boughton Estate has been a venue that illegal hunters have previously felt free from prying eyes, not anymore.
The PFB will appear in court on the 21st of July 2025 for a plea hearing in relation to these charges.
TIME THIS GOVERNMENT GOT ON TOP OF ALL THIS ILLEGAL HUNTING AND BROUGHT IN SOME LAWS BANNING “ALL” HUNTING AND JAIL SENTENCES FOR ALL CAUGHT. THESE PEOPLE ARE THE SCUM OF THE EARTH AND NEED PUNISHING SEVERLY FOR WHAT THEY ARE DOLING TO INNOCENT ANIMALS THAT ARE DOING NO HARM TO ANYBODY.
