A MAN from Bransgore has been charged with animal cruelty offences following a police investigation.
Kristen Christopher Cooper, 23 of Westbury Close in Bransgore has been charged with 16 offences in relation to allegations of cruelty to deer and hares.
Officers from Dorset Police were assisted by Hampshire officers from the Ringwood Neighbourhood Policing team.
PC Adrian Woodhead said: “We will continue to work tirelessly with our colleagues to ensure that those people who target rural communities and cause destruction and damage to wildlife and animals are targeted to bring them to justice.”
The offences included:
- Two offences to kill a deer at night
- Four counts of criminal damage
- Seven counts of causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal
- Handling stolen goods
- Driving a motor vehicle otherwise in accordance with a licence
- Using a motor vehicle on a road or public place without third-party insurance
Two other men were arrested and have been released under investigation while enquires are ongoing.
Kristen Christopher Cooper is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Friday, January 20.

This piece of scum COOPER wants putting away for a very long time, NO suspended sentences or fines lock the bastard up. We need to rid the world of these parasites so give them very hard sentences and maybe they will think again???????????????????
