Anyone walking their dog on the Tarka Trail close to the Puffing Billy, please be aware that this morning 2 lurchers were attacked by this pack of dogs. They were completely out of control and it was horrendous. One of the poor lurchers ran off terrified and my partner and myself managed to get it and keep it safe. Both dogs are ok just absolutely terrified, I just dread to think what could have happened if it had been a small dog who had started running. Thank god the lurchers owner had some idea what to do, I know I wouldn’t have!
