Lake District National Park Authority suspended trail hunting on their land

Update on trail hunting on Lake District National Park Authority land – 27 November 2020:

We are aware of the recent allegations made to the police in relation to a webinar hosted by The Hunting Office, hunting’s governing body. Whilst these allegations are being examined by the police and Crown Prosecution Service to determine if any criminal offences have taken place, we have suspended trail hunting on National Park Authority land.

This will include the suspension of the licence issued to the Blencathra Foxhounds. We will consider any action we need to take once the investigation is complete.

  1. This might have helped, although my other emails over the years seem to have had little impact 😂

    Dear Mr Leafe
    Thank you for your reply.
If the question of morality fails to stir your conscience, perhaps the latest expose of the criminal organisation behind Trailhunting, together with the distancing of the Forestry Commission, National Trust and United Utilities from the associated abhorrent practices, might convince you that you should likewise without hesitation.
You might otherwise be considered completely out of touch with the national mood, or worse complicit with these crooks.
    Sincerely

  2. NOTICE ALL THESE PLACES SUSPENDING “TRAIL” HUNTING USE THE WORD TRAIL NEVER A MENTION OF THE ILLEGAL HUNTING WITH DOGS. I HOPE THE INVESTIGATION FINDS THIS SCUM GUILTY OF BREAKIUNG THE LAW, BUT WITH POLITICIANS AND POLICE PART OF THE HUNTING BRIGADE WHO KNOWS, IF THSE FILTH ARE NOT FOUND GUILTY THERE WILL BE WAR.
