I (Mike Huskisson) took this photograph yesterday. Had the hare been killed by hare coursers Suffolk police would have moved heaven and earth to bring the criminals to justice. Because the hare was killed by those who ride to hounds Suffolk police did their best to help their friends in the hunt escape justice. It takes a particularly gutless coward to delight in killing harmless and helpless hares. Please support your local sabs – they are the best hope our wildlife has. (I am breaking my own embargo on Facebook posting until I have my next book to hand because this image needs to be widely seen and shared).
